The Vision
This project represents a radical departure from the property's original state, showcasing a transformation on an acreage scale. What was once a dense and entirely inaccessible wooded backyard has been meticulously reclaimed and reimagined into the expansive destination that this family yearned for. Through strategic clearing and precise grading of the terrain, we transitioned the landscape from a neglected thicket into a curated retreat that offers both a world-class social hub and the wide-open space necessary for modern family life.

More than just a place to swim, this pool area was engineered to be a self-sustaining retreat that you never need to leave. By integrating all the comforts and amenities of a high-end indoor living room directly into the landscape, we created a permanent vacation destination steps from the back door.

The heart of the social experience is a stunning, open-air A-frame pavilion. Designed as the ultimate space for connection, it features a floor-to-ceiling wood-burning fireplace with an integrated TV and a luxury bathroom and utility room, offering total independence from the main house.

The integrated outdoor kitchen serves as a protected culinary destination for high-performance cooking. Adjacent to the pavilion, a dining terrace is both sheltered and defined by a grove of whimsical birch trees, creating an intimate, organic atmosphere for al fresco meals.

To ensure the destination remains vibrant after sunset, an expansive outdoor lighting solution was implemented. Strategic uplighting and the play of light and shadow highlight the stone textures and woodland canopy, keeping the estate stunning and usable at all hours.
