At Redwood Outdoor Living & Design, it is imperative that we are eco-friendly and use sustainable practices whenever possible. This includes using drought tolerant plants, gray water use, and locally sourced vegetation and materials.

In addition, we want to support sustainable and protective practices beyond our scope of influence.  In line with that goal, five hundred dollars from each completed project will be donated to the World Water Council or a charity of your choice.

Giving Back

Our family tradition is rooted in service to the community.  Three generations of Mulvehill's have served/serve our country in the armed forces, our granduncle was a Jesuit priest, our aunt was a nurse, and a number of us are educators. We have chosen to honor our families service by creating two scholarship programs to help create the next generation of leaders. They will both launch in the spring of 2024.

Our family has deep roots in Norwood, MA and we have created the “Mulvehill Family Scholarship Fund.” Every 4 years, the fund will provide a Norwood High School senior a $1,000 dollar scholarship for each year they are enrolled in either a two or four year undergraduate program.

Prior to co-founding Redwood Outdoors, Tim spent 16 years working with youth in the Boston Public Schools. The last 8 years of his career were spent at the Orchard Gardens School in Roxbury. The "Mulvehill Family Scholarship Fund" will provide a scholarship to a graduating senior from the Boston Arts Academy who attended the Orchard Gardens school (K-8). Every 4 years, the fund will provide a BPS senior a $1,000 dollar scholarship for each year they are enrolled in either a two or four year undergraduate program.
